SIMPLY GRAND EVENTS

About Simply Grand's Principal Designer and Owner,

Kendra Hobson

First and foremost, I love this job because it allows me to engage with each of my clients differently, making every single event unique and seamless. By promoting  a creative, integrated planning process from start to finish, we work together to make your event memorable and beautiful. I joke with my clients that I act as designer, project manager, cheerleader, therapist, concierge, referee, secretary, and best friend throughout the planning process. Luckily, I only take on a limited number of events each year to ensure the integrity of my services.

My love for Jackson Hole stems from a longtime love affair with the mountains. I grew up in Wyoming, my parents fell in love here, I got married here, and I am very biased when I say it is the most magical place.  Jackson's incredible natural features create the ultimate backdrop for any event.

I founded Simply Grand Events in 2010 while working in interior design locally with Harker Design and finding a passion for planning and designing weddings after marrying my husband, Kent.

My work has been published in Martha Stewart, Snippet and Ink, The Knot, Weddings Magazine, Style Me Pretty, Magnolia Rouge, Rocky Mountain Bride, and many other blogs and publications.

I have forged great working relationships with the valley's top vendors and venues and earned a reputation for my design, my work ethic, and my overall ease within the wedding community.  Anyone looking for a planner that is organized, creative, and real, look no farther. I have a very hands on approach and love to dig in she and get to know each individual client to produce an event that is unique and organized each time.  My passion for each project and respect for my clients ensures that their needs are always met while bringing new ideas to the table that can enhance their vision.

In the rare instance I'm not working, I spend my time with my family and two dogs, Whisky and Ranger, playing in our beautiful valley whether skiing, hiking, fly fishing, whitewater rafting, climbing, taking in a concert, or running the many mountain trails.
